Rebar Detailing

At Kestrels Rebar, our rebar detailers prepare shop drawings for the placement of the reinforcing steel. Our detailing team figures the number, size, shape and location of the rebar to be placed in the form work, prior to concreting as per the project specifications. We deliver high-quality shop drawings which are designed as per the ACI & CRSI standards. We determine the placing sequence of the rebar so that you can meet your schedule. With our team, we create detailed placing drawings that stand out from the competition. The software also helps us produce Bar Bending Schedules in varied customized formats, which are then input into automated machines in fabrication shops.

These drawings are so detailed that contractors often refer to our drawings in place of the structures for visualization. This simplifies the ironworkers' job of placing and reduces installation costs.

Our bar listings are available in the following formats: ASA, Soule (SLE), Pinnacle (PIN), Romac (ROM), Canada Wide (WID), ARMA+(CSF), Shear 97, RMS(CDI) and TSV.

Rebar Detailing Process

Three tier system for quality

All our placing drawings go through a three-level checking process before submitting them to the client.

Tier - 1 : The drawings are reviewed by the Detailer who is handling the project. All the corrections are done before it goes to the next level i.e., Project leader.

Tier - 2 : The drawings are reviewed by an experienced Project leader to make sure all the details from the contract drawings are followed and ensure that each standard specified by the client is met. Then the drawings are sent to the review of Project Manager.

Tier - 3 : This is the last and final review, where the project manager thoroughly checks the drawing from the aspects of Fabrication and Placing.

At Kestrels Rebar, Our engineers play a vital role in construction management in the overall success and development of any project, leading a project from start to finish. There are six functions of construction management that we follow to ensure the success and quality of a project namely Project Management Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration & Safety Management. Our job is to go through each function carefully and ensure that everything is done correctly.
